On 09th May here at a ceremony jointly commemorated Independence Day of the Romanian state, Victory Day and the Allied Joint Forces Europe Day organized by the Prefecture, Timis County Council and the city of Timisoara. In front of the Monument to the Romanian soldier in the Central city park with the highest state, military and religious honors were held ceremonial laying of wreaths in which took part high representatives of county, city and local authorities, consular corps,    military and police officials and dignitaries of the Banat Metropolitanate. The representatives of the consular corps, headed by GK as chairman laid a wreath upon the Prefect, the President of the County Council and the mayor of Timisoara.
