Minister I. Dacic met representatives of the Association of Serbs in Romania

During a working visit to Timisoara where he participated in the international conference "Security Challenges in the Balkans", First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic had a separate meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Romania Teodor Melescanu, a working lunch with the President of the Association of Serbs in Romania Ognjan Krstic and Serbian Deputy in Romanian Parliament Slavoljub Adnadj. Representatives of the Serb minority in Romania informed the Minister with the situation and position of the Serbs in Romania. Minister emphasized an exemplary cooperation with one of the most organized and most active communities of Serbs in the region and point out the efforts of Serbia to maintain national, cultural, linguistic and spiritual identity of the Serbian people in Romania, and expressed gratitude to the Romanian authorities for their care for the local Serbs.
