Minister I. Dacic visited the Episcopal Palace Timisoara

During the working visit to Timisoara, the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic visited the Episcopal Palace Timisoara located in the most ancient center of Timisoara, where he had a meeting with His Grace Bishop Lukijan of Budim and Administrator of the Eparchy of Timisoara and priests of the Serbian Orthodox Church. Bishop Lukijan has informed the Minister about good relations exiting between the Eparchy of Timisoara and state of Romania and the Romanian Patriarchate. Minister expressed satisfaction with the good relations between the two peoples who share the same living space and are connected with the same Orthodox faith. Minister visited the Eparchial Museum accompanied by Bishop Lukijan, Eparchial Museum is an integral part of the Episcopal Palace and at the same time is a treasure of spiritual, cultural and artistic heritage, old manuscript and printed books and other valuable exhibits from the centuries-old residence of Serbian bishops in this part of Banat. At the end of his visit, Minister visited Serbian Orthodox Episcopal Church, the oldest in this city.
